YHVH is used in scripture over 6800 times while YAH is used less than 50. They both refer to the Almighty God, but YAH is used in a very specific way. Most translations hide the distinction between the two and yet how they are used is important to understand. That understanding is obvious when the references are not hidden in the English text.

The Passover lamb is often portrayed as a tiny helpless lamb, when the reality is it was a yearling ram. When we then look at the Passover as a portrayal of Jesus Christ, was He a helpless 2-month-old ram lamb hiding behind His mother? Or was He a year-old ram in His prime with strength and power in His horns? This study is about how the yearling Passover ram symbolizes Jesus, who is then an example for us.

Therefore comfort one another with these words.
