Everyone needs encouragement from time to time. These scriptures remind us of YHVH's love for his creation and they encourage us to live according to His ways. A new scripture appears at the top of this page each week. Discover a scripture that may help you through a trial, difficult situation, or to draw closer to The Father and His Son.


And the LORD spoke unto Moses saying:
 
"Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the day of Atonement (Coverings). It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.
 
And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement (Coverings), to make Atonement (Covering) for you before the LORD your God. ..."

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
 
"Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of the blowing of Trumpets, a holy convocation .
 
You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD.'"

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening-It's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.
 
So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.
 
Mark out a straight path for your feet so those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
 
God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
