This web site is a venue for biblical studies based on a common understanding of God the Father and Jesus Christ that is not restricted by the culture and environment of being a church. There is only one Ekklesia but there are many corporations. The historical environment of the Churches of God is generally that you could believe whatever you wanted as long as you kept it to yourself, but open differences were not going to be considered. If we are growing in biblical knowledge and understanding, then what we teach now, and in the future, will be somewhat different from what we taught in the past. Also, what one teacher offers may be different from another one. We are imperfect beings with imperfect understanding so a range of perspectives will be shared. In the end though, all teachings must be weighed against the consistency of the record of scripture.

Every grain offering is required to have salt in it. This salt added is the "salt of the covenant." Salt is necessary for life and was very valuable. We are prepared with salt, and we are called "the salt of the earth." Are these concepts related?

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. What is it that we are expected to do to produce a tree of life? What does this even mean? I plan to focus on one area we can be working on. It certainly is an area I need to be working on. In principle it is simple, yet at times it can be excruciatingly hard to put into practice, and to apply with the help of the Holy Spirit fully and perfectly.

Inspiration - Trust

2 Samuel 22:2-4,31 NKJV

And he (King David) said: Yehovah is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

The God (Elohiym) of my strength, in whom I will TRUST; my shield and the horn (strength) of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence.

I will call upon Yehovah, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

As for God (EL), His way is perfect; the word of Yehovah is proven; He is a shield to all who TRUST Him.
