The list of topic categories below list what is currently located on this web site. New categories may be added as study content is submitted.
- APPOINTED TIMES
YHVH describes specific times when He commands His people to assemble to worship. These festival days represent elements of YHVH's plan of salvation for mankind and their meaning is important in understanding His purpose and will.
- GOVERNANCE
How should the Ekklesia be structured or governed? How did Jesus treat His followers? Which model of the many churches is correct? Do we follow the examples set in the Old Testament? How do we resolve various conflicting views on biblical topics?
- HOLY SPIRIT
What is the Holy Spirit? Is it a person? Perhaps the power of God? How does it interact with men? How does it function in our lives?
- KINGDOM OF GOD
How does the Bible describe the Kingdom of God? When is it? Who comprises the kingdom? What part does Jesus Christ play in that kingdom?
- PASSOVER - 15TH OT/NT
The argument that Passover continued to be kept as Israel did except that Jesus became the sacrifice and a lamb was no longer to be offered, is referred to as 15th/15th. This argument is that the sacrifice of the lamb was at the end of the 14th and eaten at the beginning of the 15th. The traditional Night To Be Much Observed of the Church of God community is at the same time that the Passover is to be kept and marks the beginning of the Days of Unleavened Bread.
- RECORD OF SCRIPTURE
The consistency of the teachings of the Bible should guide our understanding. YHVH does not change and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Also, the New Testament does not interpret the Old Testament, rather the Old Testament is the foundation of the New Testament. We must not pick some verses to interpret other verses or choose certain verses and ignore the rest. The consistency of the record of scripture will always be the answer. YHVH did not leave His children in darkness, it is the children who have chosen to walk away from the light.
- RESTORED SERMONS
A number of sermons were given that were either not posted online or were subsequently pulled from circulation. This category lists Studies that may fit in other categories but are collected under this topic for convenience.
- SALVATION
What is Salvation and are Christians now saved? Who is the author of Salvation? Can we lose our salvation?
- THE CALENDAR - JERUSALEM OBSERVATION
These studies argue that the beginning of the year is determined by viewing weather conditions in Israel that evidence the turn of the seasons. For many, that means the first visible crescent, viewed from Jerusalem, after the barley in Israel has reached the state of "aviv". This also argues that from the time YHVH chose Jerusalem, the instructions for keeping the Appointed Times would be based on the events that He determined to take place there.
- THE CALENDAR - LOCAL OBSERVATION
These studies argue that YHVH's calendar started at creation (Genesis 1:14) and the observation of the new moons has always been locally done. This also argues that the beginning of the year starts with the first visible crescent after the equinox that begins the summer season in the northern hemisphere where the Bible record was based. While there is no specific Hebrew word for equinox, the equinoxes are part of creation and naturally mark the beginning and end of the summer and winter seasons. Viewing the crescent moon locally makes it possible for anyone throughout history to keep YHVH's Appointed Times in their seasons.
- THE GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT
Who is the God of the Old Testament? Is it Christ or His Father? What do Jesus and the authors of the New Testament have to say? Who was the "I AM" that Moses encountered?
- THE MILLENNIUM
A multi-part audio series that discusses the Millennium, it's timing, characteristics, and the players on the scene. What part does the Father and His Son play during this time? Whole passages of scripture, such as the Book of Amos, were obscured by traditional paradigms of events, that simply had no place in the Biblical text. When such things arise, it is our paradigm that is incorrect, not the scriptures. The scriptures must take precedence to our paradigm of understanding, and our paradigm must change to reflect that recognition. More will be added as more becomes understood.
