Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
What is a chronicle anyway? If we are going to talk about something, it is best we define it. Did you know that the place where God put His name initially, was in Ephraim, at Shiloh, and not in Jerusalem? And that occurred for nearly 4 centuries? How is it that God rejected Shiloh, and with some whistle stops along the way, ended up in Jerusalem? The calendar is part of the whole Jerusalem story, but not the star of the show. Maybe we need to look beyond the trees so we can see the forest, and deal with the trees as they come along?

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor rea nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
