The title of today's study is "Justice For All" is probably familiar to many of us, particularly to us older folks that would recognize it as the last phrase of the Pledge of Allegiance which we recited every day at the start of the school day. I'm not sure when that faded from existence in the school system but for sure it was a principle that was taught and was part of the moral fabric of this country for many years. Today we hear a lot about "justice" in the news. Whether or not justice will be served in some criminal case, as when someone is murdered, will their loved ones receive justice? Exactly what is justice for them? We also hear a term used "social justice" where in its context it is trying to address systemic inequalities which implies there are inequalities within the justice system. In this study we will attempt to show the difference between the justice used in scripture and the world views of justice.
