Biblical Understanding based on the Record of Scripture
We see the Holy Spirit shown as water, wind, or fire when given to people, and as a dove when it lands on Jesus Christ. Each of these shows us some aspects of the Holy Spirit with some overlap, though the dove has very different imagery than the other three. Why is that? And what are some of the things we can understand about the Holy Spirit from how it is shown to us as rushing wind, or as tongues of fire, or as living water?
